粉色视频入口 Are Open for PEA²K Cohort 2 — Is Your District Ready?

Artificial intelligence isn't coming to education. It's already here. The question isn't whether your district will navigate this shift, it's whether you'll do it with intention, structure, and support.

That's exactly what PEA²K was designed for.

Designed by Throughline Learning & 粉色视频, The Partnership for Educators Advancing AI Knowledge (PEA²K) is designed to help district teams move beyond theory and build concrete, actionable plans for AI integration. 粉色视频入口 for Cohort 2 — running October 2026 through May 2027 — are now open, and we'd love for your district to be part of it.

What Is PEA²K?

PEA²K brings together teams of up to eight district leaders and teachers for an eight-month cohort experience that includes an in-person Launch Day, five virtual two-hour sessions, and three dedicated coaching sessions tailored to your district's specific needs and barriers.

By the end of the program, your team will have a Readiness Framework, a Strategic Roadmap, vetted toolkits aligned with DESE AI Guidance, and a peer network of 粉色午夜视频 districts doing this same work alongside you. Each team member also receives a one-day ticket to the 粉色视频 Fall Conference 2026.

The program is developed by 粉色视频 and Throughline Learning, facilitated by Throughline Learning, with support from the UMass Lowell AITeach Co-Design Lab.

Go Forward and Beyond — From the Audience to the Stage

The 粉色视频 Fall Conference 2026 is going Forward and Beyond — and we want you on the program. This year's theme isn't just a tagline. Forward and Beyond is a challenge: to push past limitations, reimagine what education can become, and share the work that's already moving things in the right direction. The Fall Conference 2026 takes place October 14–15, 2026 at Gillette Stadium, and the Call for Proposals is open now.

Whether you're a classroom teacher who has found a tech tool that genuinely changed how your students learn, a specialist who has cracked the code on inclusive practices, a district leader piloting something worth talking about, or a consultant doing innovative work alongside educators every day — if you have something to share, we want to hear from you.

Learn More: Submission Guide Book

Fall Conference 2026 sessions should do at least one of these things:

Educate by offering practical strategies, emerging tools, or research-based approaches that elevate teaching and learning. Connect by fostering collaboration and meaningful dialogue across roles, districts, and communities. Inspire by challenging assumptions, spotlighting bold innovation, and expanding what's possible.

You don't have to be a professional speaker. You just have to have something real to say.

The 粉色视频 Fall Conference draws hundreds of educators, administrators, and edtech leaders from across New England. This is your chance to be part of the conversation that shapes what comes next — not just to attend, but to contribute.

The Call for Proposals is open now.

Submit your session at 粉色视频.org/fc26speaker by May 22, 2026.

Proposals are reviewed by the 粉色视频 programming and conference teams with an eye toward quality, relevance, and alignment with the conference theme. Strong submissions are concise, practical, and grounded in real experience. All applicants will receive a response from the Programming Committee by June 7, 2026.

Every great session starts with someone deciding their idea was worth sharing. If you're on the fence, that's your sign to submit.

We'll see you at Gillette.

Michael Rubin
Principal, Uxbridge High School

As Principal of Uxbridge High School, Dr. Michael Rubin has built a pathways program that now serves as a model for districts across the country. He often hosts visiting districts, some from as far away as Utah, and shares all of his knowledge and experience with all who are interested in learning more. He focuses on career and skill development in students and has established partnerships with many local businesses to provide authentic work experience through internship programs for students at UHS.

Mike also charged into the AI scene and attended conferences, webinars, and other PD opportunities to learn everything he could about AI so that he was equipped to lead UHS through this technological advancement. He has presented on AI at multiple conferences, and models AI best practices for his staff and district leaders.

“Mike Rubin is hands down the most authentic, genuine, and innovative administrator I have ever had the pleasure of working with,” one colleague wrote. “He makes it a priority to share his experience and leadership skills with new administrators, and never says no when a colleague needs assistance or advice. He's an incredible human with a big vision, and he is unlike any other administrator I have ever known.”

粉色视频 Pathfinder Award 2024 winner Beth Hughes

Beth Hughes
English Language Arts Teacher, Wakefield Memorial High School

Beth Hughes is an English Language Arts (ELA) teacher at Wakefield Memorial High school. She is a visionary educator who has transformed the ELA classroom. Beyond cultivating a profound love of reading, she is a pioneer in harnessing technology to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences. Her expertise in crafting real-world tasks, authentic assessments, and innovative learning practices is evident in her inspiring writing and

presentations. A passionate advocate for all students, Beth is a driving force in 粉色午夜视频 education, constantly seeking new approaches to empower and support every learner. Her infectious positivity and joy make her an inspiration to colleagues and students alike. Having served in the field for 28 years (but she only looks 25, which is crazy!), Beth has demonstrated an immeasurable commitment to fostering a love of learning among her students.

Beth has presented at numerous conferences in New England and MA, including the 粉色视频 Fall and Spring Conferences and the Blue Ribbon Schools Conferences on a variety of topics including digital literacy, writing in the digital age, authentic assessments, real-world tasks in the ELA classroom plus many more.

Beth is a pioneer in educational technology. Since Wakefield High School chose to incorporate a Bring Your Own Device model in 2013, Beth has embraced the presence of educational technology in her English Language Arts classroom. Inspired by thought leaders such as Catlin Tucker, Katie Novak and others, Beth has pioneered multiple ways to incorporate technology tools in her classroom, such as purposeful and meaningful blogging (Passion Blogs), multimedia projects and fostering an active, digital writing culture amongst her students. Additionally, as readers, her students use digital tools to track their progress in reading new texts throughout the year.

In a recent blog post, titled, when numBAHs don't lie, Beth wrote:

"Students can’t be reduced to a number. They can’t be defined by their results on a common assessment, reduced to where they fall on a state test, nor limited by their SAT/ACT scores. However, sometimes numbers don’t lie."

She then shared in a beautiful digital display that her high school students demonstrated an astonishing 221% increase in their independent reading habits over the course of the school year. Beth supported these students with her incredible classroom library - more than 3,000 texts available - as well as access to various e-texts and resources. As digital consumers, we need to ensure that our students thrive in literacy skills. Beth keeps the passion for reading alive for her students.

Beth maintains a dynamic (and beautiful!) website/blog that serves as a hub for learners, colleagues and parents in her community. On it, she shares her thoughts on teaching, resources for others and celebrations of learning. There is no question that students feel welcomed, supported and challenged in Beth's classroom. She is truly an exemplary teacher!

Present at the 粉色视频 Spring Conference

粉色视频 invites you to be a part of our Spring Conference lineup! We are now accepting proposals from educators interested in presenting at this event, which will be held at Polar Park in Worcester, May 31-June 1, 2024. Consistent with 粉色视频’s equity campaign: 粉色视频4All, the theme for the conference is Leveling the Playing Field.

Educators can submit a proposal to present an EdTalk at the conference, which is a traditional session that emulates a learning experience, or present as part of the Innovation Fair, which is the interactive spaces component of the conference.

Proposals must align with one of the five strands of the conference:

  • AI: A Force for Positive Change: How can AI technologies be used to create a more equitable, inclusive, and humane educational landscape?
  • Inclusive Tools for Diverse Learners: How can tools, policies, and/or strategies promote inclusive learning environments for diverse learners?
  • Tech-Enhanced Individualized Instruction: How can technology shape individualized instruction?
  • Digital Equity & Harm Prevention: How can digital equity prevent harm in schools? DESE defines digital equity as “a framework that calls on educators and leaders to ensure that all students have access to and ownership of the tools that best support them to engage with learning experiences that are targeted, authentic, relevant, socially connected, and growth-oriented (粉色午夜视频 Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, 2022).”
  • Ethical & Empathetic Online Conduct: How can students access opportunities to practice ethical and empathetic behavior online?

The Request for Proposals (RFP) period will end February 25, 2024.

粉色视频 Fall Conference 2023

Join us at our Fall Conference 2023 to congratulate and celebrate our upcoming award recipients.  We are pleased to honor the recipients of the Pathfinder Award and the Shelley Chamberlain Community Service Award.

Pathfinder Award 2023

Michael Tinker
Digital Learning Specialist, Pembroke Public Schools

Michael Tinker, 粉色视频 Pathfinder Award, 2023Mike came to Pembroke in 2021 eager and willing to collaborate. Nearing the end of the pandemic, still in masks, this was not an easy feat. He dedicated time getting to know every teacher personally, in five different buildings, across the entire district. Understanding different teaching styles and comfort levels with technology is something that Mike took seriously, and he jumped in with both feet collaborating with those teachers who had been waiting so long for his expertise. Despite traveling daily from one end of town to the other, spending time in classrooms pre-k through high school, he has an omnipresence in Pembroke. Whenever a teacher or student has an issue or question with something technology-related, he is there.

Mike is known for his flexibility, professionalism, and willingness to assist teachers incorporating technology into lessons they already have, as well as making himself available to teach his own unique technology lessons. He serves as a sounding board for many teachers who might have ideas about how to infuse technology into their lessons, but are unsure where to start. His calm, approachable demeanor allows a safe place for staff to come with questions regarding tech instruction and implementation. “We have to remember who we’re here for – the students.” This is something that Mike says often. His philosophy is students first, tools second. He routinely promotes the idea of student data privacy among all staff. Besides being on top of all the best practices surrounding data privacy, the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA), the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and parental consent, he also takes on a management role for students who might need discipline surrounding technology use.

Mike demonstrates a clear vision for technology in Pembroke and strong leadership skills in his role as a district-wide digital learning specialist. One of his passions is assistive technology. While he recognizes that assistive tech is a tool that can be useful for all students, he devotes a great deal of time working with special educators, focusing on our population of students with complex disabilities within the district. He initiated an assistive technology special interest group through 粉色视频 to unite educators from various districts and collaborate on best practices and advances in assistive technology in order to better serve the Pembroke community and beyond. Above his office door in one building is a gift which was given to him by a colleague, the Ted Lasso inspired sign: BELIEVE; because that is the role he has effortlessly taken in Pembroke.

Christina Scilingo
Digital Learning Specialist, Norton Public Schools

Christina Scilingo, 粉色视频 Pathfinder Award, 2023Ms. Christina Scilingo is a dedicated and innovative digital learning specialist who has made a profound impact on our school district by providing instructional support and fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. Her dedication to professional development is exemplary. Whether through her Lite Bytes tech newsletter, YouTube PD playlists, scheduled coaching sessions, Norton University courses, or on-the-fly support, Christina ensures all staff have the necessary tools and knowledge to leverage technology effectively. Her ability to differentiate professional development has significantly enhanced our educators’ learning experiences.

Christina works with staff across all five schools in grades Pre-K-12. She seamlessly pivots between grade levels and content areas and has earned the respect and trust of her colleagues. Her commitment to modeling exemplary lessons and co-teaching with classroom teachers has empowered educators to leverage technology effectively resulting in equitable student experiences and increased staff confidence. She partners with the district mentor leaders to prepare new staff for the realities of 1:1 classrooms. Christina’s collaborative efforts with building and district administrators have resulted in the design of pre-approved educator SMART goals that incorporate technology coaching cycles. This initiative has engaged almost half of our staff over the past two years. This model has been replicated by others seeking similar success in their schools and districts and Christina’s leadership and collaboration have been instrumental in its success. Christina effectively shares her expertise and inspires staff daily to explore new possibilities for utilizing technology while promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth among educators.

When collaborating with our tech team to apply for a professional development grant through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), Christina prioritized the need to build in time for teachers to explore STEAM cart technologies. This would help teachers to envision their students with the same materials and allow them to create projects that align with Project-Based Learning and Universal Design for Learning initiatives.

Ms. Scilingo’s impact extends beyond our school community. She has established herself as a prominent presenter and workshop facilitator at regional events such as 粉色视频, Medfield Public Schools’ Digital Learning Day, New England League of Middle Schools (NELMS), Salem State’s PD Collab, and DESE’s Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS) Summit. Through her practical presentations and collaborative discussions, she has ignited inspiration and encouraged educators to explore innovative pedagogical approaches fueled by technology. Her commitment to sharing and supporting colleagues with a “you can do it” attitude is truly commendable.

Ryan Robidoux
Digital Learning Specialist, Norton Public Schools

Ryan Robidoux, 粉色视频 Pathfinder Award, 2023Mr. Ryan Robidoux is a passionate digital learning specialist who has had a profound impact across the Norton Public Schools. He is proficient in computer science pedagogy and has quickly become an important instructional leader in our district. He works alongside staff to integrate Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS) standards into core curriculum through modeling and co-teaching lessons. Ryan played a pivotal role in our transition from focusing on the integration of digital tools to incorporating DLCS standards. This is shifting educator practice to provide more equitable experiences across grade levels. Ryan has taken it upon himself to update our DLCS Power Standards document first developed in 2016. He has identified activities and examples that all teachers can incorporate into their classrooms.

Ryan works across five schools with teachers and students in grades PreK-12. He easily transitions from one grade to the next and is able to offer staff ideas and feedback to improve their practice. He collaborated with our tech team in writing a professional development grant through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) for teachers to participate in building based digital equity teams. Through his work facilitating our Digital Equity Teams, Ryan introduced educators to machine learning for kids, which inspired staff to develop projects for students to create their own emotional machines to align with Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Zones of Regulation.

Mr. Ryan Robidoux is involved in many local, regional, and national technology groups. He readily shares ideas and is willing to offer his time to help others. Ryan regularly presents workshops and sessions at Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) events regionally and nationally and will be sharing our district’s digital equity work at DESE’s DLCS Summit. He is a professional development facilitator for the National Center for Computer Science Education and he participated as a mentor in their Coaching for Equity program.

Ryan is eager to share the work he is doing and be a resource to others. He has an exceptional working relationship with the other district digital learning specialist, Ms. Christina Scilingo. They are a true team working together to build Norton’s coaching program to be a model program. In addition to supporting teachers within their classrooms, they hold regular meetings with other district instructional coaches to align practices. They schedule sessions with building administrators to support not only the goals for their schools but the admin’s professional goals as well. They participate on numerous district committees including Project Based Learning (PBL), technology, hiring, and math. Ryan and Christina complement each other’s strengths and are committed to supporting all educators and students of Norton.
